Greece is the locale of much of the New Testament writings of the Apostle Paul. From Athens to Thessaloniki and even Corinth, there’s a rich history behind each city and site that we will visit. After experiencing a Footsteps of Paul tour with the Wildmon family, there will be much greater understanding and appreciation for the Apostle Paul's writings throughout the book of Acts.

Are you looking for a tour that will help you visit places where the Apostle Paul traveled and witnessed? Don Wildmon started leading tours to Israel in the late 1960s, and he taught his son, Tim Wildmon, how to lead groups. Today, Tim and Alison Wildmon, along with their sons, Wesley and Walker, lead annual tours to various places with fellow Christian believers. The Wildmons have been leading tours for over three decades. Wesley and Walker Wildmon are excited to introduce the Footsteps of Paul tour in 2026.
The Wildmons love taking Christians to see the land of the Bible. You will see the places where the Apostle Paul walked and taught. This includes places such as Athens, Corinth, and Philippi, to name a few. You will visit fascinating and inspirational places every day. You will also eat well, have a lot of fun, and enjoy sharing the experience with fellow believers from across the United States.

Q. What if I want to do both the Greece and Italy tours since they are back-to-back?
A. For those who want to go on both, there will be a flight from Greece to Italy to meet Tim and Alison Wildmon in Italy once the Greece trip portion is complete.
Q. What if I want to book my airline tickets from New York to Thessaloniki?
A. For those who book their own airline tickets, we will provide you with the flight numbers that our group will use should you desire to be on the same flight as the rest of the group. The cost for the land-only portion in Greece is $4,795.00. If you’re doing both Greece and Italy, you'll receive flight numbers for the Greece-to-Italy leg.
Q. Do I need a passport?
A. Yes. Absolutely. You cannot leave the country without a passport.
Q. What about dress attire?
A. Casual attire, such as jeans or athletic pants, and comfortable walking shoes are best. Plan to bring a rain jacket along with some warm attire for the cooler temperatures in the morning and evening.
Q. How much walking will there be?
A. A moderate amount of walking will take place, but we break it up into manageable portions throughout the day.
Q. What about the weather?
A. Normal March temperatures are in the mid-60s during the day and low-50s in the evening.
Q. How much is the non-refundable deposit?
A. $1000 per person.
Q. Where do we fly out from the United States?
A. We all gather at a designated New York airport three hours before our flight to Greece departs the country. Everyone makes their own travel arrangements to New York.
Q. How will we travel in Greece?
A. We will travel on a very comfortable motorcoach. We will also have a personal bus driver assigned to us the entire trip as well as a professional tour guide who is a Christian.
Q. How many people will be with us on the tour?
A. We typically have between 50 and 100 individuals join these tours. However, we divide everyone into groups of 40-50. Each group has its own bus and tour guide, and everyone has his or her own earpiece that allows the guide to speak directly to you in a normal voice. So, it feels like you are touring with a group of only 40-50 people. In addition, Wesley and Walker Wildmon will be your hosts.
Q. What hotels will the group stay in?
A. We will be staying overnight in Thessaloniki and Athens in four-star hotels. The exact hotels for these two cities will be shared as we get closer to our departure.
Q. What is the fuel surcharge listed in the pricing notice?
A. Airlines reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge to your booking costs at any time prior to departure due to fluctuations in the volatile energy market.
