Italy site visits are subject to change based on weather and other factors outside of the control of the tour provider.
Q. What if I want to do both the Greece and Italy tours since they are back-to-back?
A. For those who want to go on both, there will be a flight from Greece to Italy to meet Tim and Alison Wildmon in Italy once the Greece trip portion is complete.
Q. What if I want to book my airline tickets from New York to Venice?
A. For those who book their own airline tickets, we will provide you with the flight numbers that our group will use should you desire to be on the same flight as the rest of the group. The cost for the land-only portion in Italy is $4,895.00. If you’re doing both Greece and Italy, you'll receive flight numbers for the Greece-to-Italy leg.
Q. Do I need a passport?
A. Yes. Absolutely. You cannot leave the country without a passport.
Q. What about dress attire?
A. Casual attire, such as jeans or athletic pants, and comfortable walking shoes are best. Plan to bring a rain jacket along with some warm attire for the cooler temperatures in the morning and evening.
Q. How much walking will there be?
A. A moderate amount of walking will take place, but we break it up into manageable portions throughout the day.
Q. What about the weather?
A. Normal March temperatures are in the mid-60s during the day and low-50s in the evening.
Q. How much is the non-refundable deposit?
A. $1000 per person.
Q. Where do we fly out from in the United States?
A. We all gather at a designated New York airport three hours before our flight to Italy departs the country. Everyone makes their own travel arrangements to New York.
Q. How will we travel in Italy?
A. We will travel on a very comfortable motorcoach. We will also have a personal bus driver assigned to us for the entire trip, as well as a professional Christian tour guide.
Q. How many people will be with us on the tour?
A. We typically have between 50 and 100 individuals join these tours. However, we divide everyone into groups of 40-50. Each group has its own bus and tour guide, and everyone has his or her own earpiece that allows the guide to speak directly to you in a normal voice. So, it feels like you are touring with a group of only 40-50 people. In addition, Tim and Alison Wildmon will be your hosts.
Q. What hotels will the group stay in?
A. We will be staying overnight in Mestre, Florence, and Rome in four-star hotels. The exact hotels for these three cities will be shared as we get closer to our departure.
Q. What is the fuel surcharge listed in the pricing notice?
A. Airlines reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge to your booking costs at any time prior to departure due to fluctuations in the volatile energy market.
